Robots.txt generator
In this HTML code, we create a form with input fields for the website URL, pages to allow, and pages to disallow. We also create a button that triggers the generateRobotsTxt() function when clicked.
In the generateRobotsTxt() function, we retrieve the values of the website URL, allow, and disallow input fields and use JavaScript to construct a robots.txt file with the specified rules. We add the User-agent: * line to allow all robots and include the Sitemap directive to point to the website's sitemap. We then update the HTML output with the generated robots.txt file.
Note that this code is just a basic example and can be modified to include additional features and styling. For example, you could add options to specify crawl delays or user-agent-specific rules, or use CSS to style the form and output.
